Broward Dermatology Residency Program Highlights
The Broward Dermatology Residency Program is a three-year training program offering residents a well-rounded educational experience and is designed to prepare residents with the tools to provide quality patient care to all patient populations with various dermatologic conditions. The program is designed in such a way that it adequately trains and prepares dermatology residents to become board certified and meets all requirements set forth by the American Board of Dermatology. Additionally, the program ensures that the core competencies set forth by the ACGME/AOA are built into each rotation and that residents are evaluated accordingly on their medical knowledge, patient care skills, communication skills, professionalism, practice-based learning, and systems-based practice.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Broward Health Dermatology residency program is to provide residents with a well-rounded educational experience in combination with quality patient care that adequately trains and prepares dermatology residents to be board certified and meet requirements of the American Board of Dermatology, including core competencies for medical knowledge, patient care, communication, professionalism, practice-based learning, and systems-based practice.
